French construction giant Bouygues announced on May 7, 2026, that it has reduced its first quarter net losses to 94 million euros despite a 3.2 percent dip in sales in the first quarter to maintain its annual fianancial guidance. In the first quarter, a one-off charge against profit cost the company 25 million euros but despite sales falling back for the period to 12.2 billion, net losses were down from 156 million euros in the same period of 2025.
